The company has transferred 1,050 mu (70 hectares) of arable land in Qingcao Village, and carried out the rapeseed-rice-carp rotation production through a production and operation model of “company plus cooperative plus base plus farmer”, with an annual output value of 6.12 million yuan.
According to the head of the company, the rapeseed harvest process is fully mechanized this year, with one mu (about 0.067 hectares) of rapeseed harvested in about 10 minutes. What’s more, all work including harvesting, threshing, cleaning, and straw crushing can be completed in one go. Meanwhile, after crushed, straw can be returned to the field to improve the content of its soil organic matter, in a bid to promote agricultural energy conservation and efficiency.
